automotive and aerospace industry.

AST now in its 17th year was founded in 1990 as an amalgamation of Dawson Engineering Limited, which operated as a sub-contract Precision Engineering Company, and Auto Service Tools which was a Marketing Company.

Utilising state of the art technology, AST has steadily developed a unique and innovative range of specialised
products for use by professional automotive technicians. The company has recently moved to new larger
premises to allow it to further expand its business in both the UK and export markets.

Customers include Snap on , Sealey Tools, Wurth Etc

AST sockets are manufactured to the latest DIN / ANSI standards and are manufactured from the highest quality steel to meet the demands of all professionals.

AST socket range is designed with “Anti slip” enabling a better grip on the fastener whilst reducing the stress on the socket.

All extensions are fully chrome vanadium.

All extension have knurling on shaft for easy fastener starting

All extensions are size marked and carry the AST logo. (A true sign of quality!)

Consolidated Tools Limited is a family run wholesale/retail tool distributor of over 40 years standing, specializing in the supply of service tools and hand tools to the professional automotive market. We normally only sell though our independent tool vans and other specialist distributors.

We feel the general quality of hand tools that is available to the general public is unacceptable and the end user now wants a higher quality item; we are therefore now offering our professional range of tools to the end user.
